Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite authors to contribute papers on the topic of "Immunotherapy of Cancer: Pathological Mechanisms and Future Perspectives" for a special issue. Cancer is a multifaceted disease. The immune system has emerged as a vital player in its pathogenesis, development, and treatment. This special issue aims to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of the latest research on the relationship between immunity and cancer.

This special issue will cover various sub-topics related to the mechanisms of immune surveillance and evasion in cancer, the impact of the tumor microenvironment on the immune response, the role of the microbiome in modulating the immune response to cancer, and the development of immune-based therapies for cancer treatment. In addition, we welcome papers on emerging topics such as the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in cancer immunology research, the role of extracellular vesicles in intercellular communication and immune regulation in cancer, and the immune response to novel classes of cancer therapeutics.

We welcome original research articles, reviews, perspectives, and commentaries from researchers working in immunology, cancer biology, oncology, and clinical research. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists to share their findings and insights, promote collaboration, and advance our understanding of the complex relationship between immunity and cancer.
