Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Reactive oxygen species and free radicals lead to genotoxic effects and mutations. These cascade effects play a pivotal role in tumor development and tumor immunological response. After exposure to exogenous and endogenous factors, DNA damage and repair response start inside the cells. Various pathways like mismatch repair (MMR) pathway, non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) pathway, nucleotide excision repair (NER) pathway, base excision repair (BER) pathway, and the homologous recombination (HR) pathway are activated. Moreover, various signaling pathways are also involved in DNA damage and repair, and can be used as biomarkers for the early diagnosis and treatment of various cancers, e.g., androgen receptor signaling pathway, hippo signaling, and HGF/Met pathway. All these factors, pathways, and mechanisms play an important role in the diagnosis, prevention, and therapeutic applications for cancer treatment. Therefore, it is important to explore and study biomarkers related to the oxidative stress, and DNA damage and repair involved in cancer diagnosis and treatment.
The aim of this Special Issue is to publish high-quality original research and review articles about the role of redox homeostasis in cancer biology, Epigenetic regulation of cancer, biomarkers for diagnosis of tumors, Tumor microenvironment, cytogenesis in tumor microenvironment and the role of various biological biomarkers in tumor immunology.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted via our online editorial system at https://www.biolifesas.org/journalx_brha/authorLogOn.action by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to start your submission. Manuscripts can be submitted now or up until the deadline. All papers will go through peer-review process. Accepted papers will be published in the journal (as soon as accepted) and meanwhile listed together on the special issue website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts will be thoroughly refereed through a double-blind peer-review process. Please visit the Instruction for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. Submitted manuscripts should be well formatted in good English.
